Health Programs

Why It Matters

The Salinas Valley is medically underserved and our communities lack access to quality healthcare which allows preventable diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and certain types of cancer to become chronic illnesses. However, CCA’s Promotores de Salud program is designed to bring preventative health care and mental health resources to those most in need.
