Community-Led Change throughout Salinas Valley
CCA provides farmworkers, low-income families, and youth-led neighborhood committees (comités) with the resources and support needed to advocate for better housing, health, and economic conditions. By inspiring farmworker leaders to spark community conversations and form alliances, CCA fosters collective action and drives positive change.
Housing
CCA’s Viviendas Program provides resources to empower residents with their rights and responsibilities to advocate, mobilize and resolve housing issues and improve their living conditions.
Health
CCA’s Promotores de Salud program trains Promotores to effectively reduce chronic diseases, improve behavioral health, and provide spaces to build communication and stronger relationships.
Youth Development
Youth for Change empowers youth to use their voice, provides higher education pathways, and develops advocacy and civic participation skills to positively impact their communities.
